Learn the fundamentals of the Pilates Method: incorporating the use of breath, activating the deepest core muscles and finding stability in the low back, hips, ribs, shoulders and neck. Hone your practice with the Classical Pilates exercises on the reformer, cadillac and combo chair. Each of these versatile pieces of equipment offer support as well as resistance for all levels. Gain mobility, strength and control. Feel lighter and leaner! Private lessons will help you focus on your body’s unique needs, so you can get stronger and feel more vibrant every day.

You might ask, how often do you need to do Pilates to get results? The answer somewhat depends on what you are hoping to achieve? Safe to say for general fitness and/ or any kind of significant change in your body a minimum of twice to three times a week is required. Joseph Pilates recommended FOUR times a week in his seminal book, Return to Life through Contrology (his name for the Pilates Method).

Once a week lessons offer a fine introduction to the Pilates Method, a new awareness of one's own alignment and posture, help with rehabilitation and for many a way to build confidence in both functional movement as well as in the studio.Pilates Virtual Mat classes are a FANTASTIC supplement to the private lessons.
